2025 Impact & Innovation Report

2025 was another bold year of progress, innovation, and impact at Ivy Energy. Building on the momentum of 2024’s breakthroughs, we expanded our product capabilities, deepened market penetration, strengthened strategic partnerships, advanced industry thought leadership, and delivered even greater value for property owners, operators, and tenants across the U.S.

Trailblazing Strategic Growth and Market Expansion

In 2025, Ivy Energy accelerated its growth trajectory across every core metric of scale, adoption, and revenue. Active units on the Ivy platform grew 239% year over year, reflecting rapid adoption of both our Solar & DER billing solutions and our broader platform capabilities. This growth translated directly into real-world impact, with total bills produced increasing 202% year over year, underscoring Ivy’s expanding role as critical infrastructure for accurate, scalable clean energy billing.

Just as importantly, Ivy’s commercial momentum kept pace with platform adoption. Live Annual Recurring Revenue tripled year over year, driven by new customer wins, expanded deployments, and deeper penetration within existing portfolios, reinforcing the strength and durability of Ivy’s business model.

Engineering the Platform of the Future

2025 was a defining year for Ivy Energy’s product and engineering teams. We made foundational investments to improve scalability, reliability, and flexibility across the platform. Resulting in greater accuracy for our growing markets and personalized billing models to meet every customer’s needs.

Redefining What’s Possible in Solar Billing

Next Generation Billing Innovation

Successfully rolled out our next-generation billing models with updated account statements and enhanced reporting.

  • Atomic Billing
Generates each bill independently, delivering unmatched precision, auditability, and per-unit scalability while eliminating entire classes of historical billing errors caused by missing utility data or 3rd-party delays.

  • Adaptive Billing
Introduces a dynamic intelligence layer that responds to real-world utility data conditions, adjusting billing logic automatically to ensure reliable owner revenue and clear resident savings.

  • One Billing Framework. Every Market
Laid the foundation for a single, scalable billing framework designed to support solar billing across all utility-metered markets, aligning Ivy’s sales, policy, engineering, and operations under one cohesive national standard and enabling frictionless, portfolio-wide deployments.

These advancements collectively establish a new operational and technological standard for multi-tenant solar. Ivy will issue official product release announcements in 2026.

Integrations, APIs & Ecosystem Expansion

Ivy significantly expanded its integration and platform ecosystem to create a more automated and seamless experience for our customers, reducing operational friction and embedding clean energy billing more deeply into existing property management workflows.

  • Yardi Integration Completed
Fully delivered Ivy’s Yardi integration, unlocking smoother workflows and deeper alignment with property management operations.

  • PMS Integration Acceleration
Streamlined the PMS integration setup process, enabling 50 communities to be onboarded on PMS integrations this year alone.

  • Public Ivy API Launched
Released Ivy’s public API, giving partners and customers programmatic access to platform data and opening the door to future ecosystem expansion.

These advancements keep Ivy Energy at the forefront of software-enabled onsite energy monetization for the built environment.

Expanding Our Voice & Industry Leadership

In 2025, Ivy Energy significantly expanded its industry presence and voice:

2025 Measurable Environmental & Social Impact

Through 2025, Ivy Energy continued advancing measurable environmental outcomes:

  • 37,818,941 kWh (37.8 GWh)-Total Solar kWh Produced

That’s equivalent to powering 3,500+ average U.S. homes for an entire year or doing 12.6 million loads of laundry (washer + dryer).

  • 43,491,782 lbs of CO2-Total CO2 Offset

That’s equivalent to removing ~49 million miles of gasoline driving from the road or avoiding ~2.2 million gallons of gasoline burned.

Looking Ahead: Building the Standard for 2026 and Beyond

2025 trail blazed the foundation for what comes next. With core platform infrastructure strengthened, next-generation billing models proven in real-world pilots, and a universal billing framework taking shape, Ivy enters 2026 positioned to move from innovation to industry standard.

"I'm proud of the hard work our team has done this year and our ability to demonstrate the bipartisan benefits of our business model with real results and real data. Many solar companies have crumbled under the headwinds of a politically charged energy market. It's refreshing to know that our work stands on a foundation that transcends the climate debate. Regardless of how energy is generated, it always needs demand to match, and onsite energy is here to stay. Our hard work and relentless perseverance in problem-solving this year continues to enable energy generation in verticals that need it more than ever as we face a demanding load forecast with real accessibility challenges ahead. There is one thing every world leader agrees on: we need more electrons. Here's to another year of making that happen—equitably, efficiently, and profitably."-Dover Janis, CEO

Our focus ahead is clear: continue to scale, deepen reliability and trust, and help property owners deploy clean energy across entire portfolios. We’re energized by the momentum we’ve built and deeply grateful to our customers, partners, and team for helping us turn complex energy challenges into durable, scalable solutions.
